How to get your contact lenses
In five easy steps, you’ll discover why ACUVUE® Brand Contact Lenses are the #1 doctor-prescribed brand.
1 ) Get your FREE* Trial Pair Certificate
Answer a few questions, and print out your certificate. Takes about three minutes.
2 ) Make a contact lens appointment with an eye doctor
Your first contact lens fitting takes a little longer than a regular eye exam – about 90 minutes. Be sure to let the office know that you need a contact lens fitting, not just a regular eye exam. Bring your Free* Trial Pair Certificate with you.
If you don’t have an eye doctor, we’ll help you find one that carries ACUVUE® Brand
3 ) Get fitted with your free* trial pair of lenses, and get your prescription
Your eye doctor will measure your eye, assess your vision and ask a few lifestyle questions to determine if lenses are right for you. If lenses are available, you’ll get your free trial pair and instructions on wearing and caring for them. When you’ve found the pair that’s right for you, your eye doctor will write a prescription.
*Professional exam and fitting fees are not included.
4 ) Try them for a week or two and see how they feel
This is where it gets fun. Whether you hit the playing field, go dancing, curl up with a book, or whatever you like to do, you’ll enjoy crisp vision and new freedom.
5 ) Follow up with your eye doctor, buy your lenses
After you’ve gotten the hang of your trial lenses, you’ll return for a follow-up visit. Your eye doctor will make sure your lenses fit properly, are comfortable, and provide the best vision. If anything doesn’t seem right with your lenses, tell your doctor. If all is well, you can usually take home a supply of lenses that day. If they need to be ordered, it usually takes a week or less.
